The study found patients who had entered and was hospitalized at the end of the world is much more likely to die than those who were taken there on a weekday.

A team of experts from University College London and University of Birmingham and East Anglia revealed an increase in the number of patients who died was not a little, so that encouraged everyone to avoid being treated in hospital at the weekend.

The report, published in the journal of the Royal Society of Medicine (JRSM) revealed more than 16 percent of patients died when they were admitted to hospital on Sunday than on Wednesday and more than 11 percent of people lost their lives while in the hospital on Saturday.

To get the conclusion, researchers followed more than 187 300 medical reports of patients who died within a month. After assessing all of them, these data suggest that patients are more at risk of losing his life on the weekends and the risk will be reduced on a weekday.

Some common diseases that cause death in hospital patients including pneumonia, heart failure, heart attack, acute renal failure, septicemia, urinary tract infections, broken bones, neck and hips.

The high mortality rate is thought to medical staff on duty at weekends over a bit so the patient care was not optimal, even if just for a test lab.

The experts suggested that the hospital management system to change its policy and is always ready 24 hours a day for 7 days.

“Patients should not have to worry when the time is ‘right’ to the hospital. By keep the service open seven days a week, more patients will get the care they want when they need,” said Andrew Lansley quoted Dailymail through Friday (3/2).
